Rebuild:Ex is an early-stage startup and a UK-registered digital health company building a mobile app that helps people struggling with exercise addiction within the context of eating disorders. Compulsive exercise is a serious yet often overlooked issue, where individuals feel compelled to exercise in unhealthy or excessive ways. Our app offers specialist support and tools to aid recovery and promote long-term well-being. While our core markets are the UK and US, the project has global relevance.
We’re seeking a creative, self-driven UI/UX Design Intern to contribute to the design of our MVP app.
You'll work closely with the CEO and CTO, gaining hands-on Healthtech experience.
This is an unpaid internship with potential for a future paid role.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the founder and CTO to align on product vision and user flow
• Design wireframes, mockups, and clickable prototypes
• Ensure clean, empathetic, and user-friendly visuals aligned with our brand
• Implement design iterations based on feedback
What We’re Looking For:
• Proficiency with tools like Figma
• Professional, proactive, and reliable attitude
• Ability to design mobile app screens and create reusable design components
• An Understanding of mobile design principles
• Logo and color palette design skills is a bonus
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including developers
• Interest in mental health, wellness, or healthtech is a bonus
