Location: Qatar

Experience of architecting banking solutions both for green field development and vendor solutions. 

Aware of banking processes and should have the working knowledge of designing solutions based on Java / .Net and other technologies.

Should be capable of designing and integrating with API's / Micro-services (REST, SOAP, MQ, Legacy WS) etc. and should be guiding the developers with right coding practices to ensure delivery of rugged working product.

Able to work as individual contributor role in a freeze timelines and produce

Must have:

Education: 4 years of Computer related bachelor or/and masters graduation

Overall experience: 12+ years with development background

Banking solutions experience: 5+ years and recent

Last two years’ experience in Azure or/and Redhat OCP cloud with micro-services development and deployments

Hands on coding and scripting mindset.

Able to demonstrate via code, diagram and POC regarding architectural aspects like design (LLD), styles (HLD), C4 and levels with principles

OSI, REST, Protocols knowledge

Deep understanding of integration tools - middle ware, build tools, hybrid cloud

Deep understanding of security practices - application, networks, cloud/hybrid

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with other senior managers and stakeholders to ensure architecture is aligned with business requirements.

Compiling and implementing Application development plans for new or existing applications

Develop models based on existing architecture, organizational policies and standards

Designing major aspects of the architecture of an application, including components such as user interface, middleware etc.

Providing technical leadership to the application development team.

Demonstrating application prototypes and integrating user feedback.

Ensuring that uniform enterprise wide application design standards are maintained

Design software applications in accordance to the agreed requirement specifications, system limitations and industry standards.

Integrating trends in application architecture in application development projects.

Review the detailed design against the acceptance criteria and checklist. Identify design problems in the software design.

Review the software requirements and assumptions for the solution, and resolve conflicts and inconsistencies with the stake holders.

Gather stake holders’ feedback and evaluation of the software applications for the post-implementation follow-up

Able to design and develop solution architecture to enable a client’s business agenda across the domains mentioned below.

Build domain knowledge across one or more of the following domains: Business, Data, infrastructure, Security, Applications, and Integration.

Be able to guide other domain specialists to align with overall business and enterprise architecture

Organize insights and define a logical flow to tell a story when presenting recommendations.

Apply awareness of global trends to address client needs and enhance recommendations.

Apply a global and diverse perspective to problem-solving.

Need to be collaborative in silo environments

Ability to operate and understand excellent project and program management disciplines including the production of project plans and key quality program deliverables

Willing to work hours as needed to meet the client deadlines and firm needs

Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities in a deadline-oriented environment and flexible work hours

Accountable and responsible for evaluate the solution design & documenting the HLD, FSD, LDD
