Responsibilities
WordPress Development
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and themes.
- Configure and manage plugins to extend site functionality.
- Diagnose, test, and resolve WordPress-related issues.
- Optimize performance, responsiveness, and security.
- Apply on-page SEO best practices and integrate analytics tools.
- Customize WooCommerce to deliver advanced eCommerce solutions.
Shopify Development
- Build and customize Shopify themes and templates.
- Enhance core store features such as checkout, cart, and product pages.
- Integrate third-party apps and services.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
- Monitor and improve store performance, speed, and security.
General Development
- Work closely with designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional layouts.
- Deliver a consistent and intuitive user experience across devices and browsers.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Keep up with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends.
Maintenance & Support
- Perform routine updates, backups, and security patches.
- Provide ongoing support for WordPress and Shopify websites.
- Troubleshoot hosting, domain, SSL, and server-related issues.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a WordPress and Shopify Developer.
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Solid expertise in theme customization, plugin development, and eCommerce platforms.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js) is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO, performance optimization, and security best practices.
- Proficiency with version control and collaboration tools (Git, Trello, Slack).
- Experience integrating payment gateways, shipping APIs, and third-party services.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with close attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
